Cookie policy
This policy explains browser storage used by Playlist Converter and how optional advertising consent affects it. You can use the converter without accepting advertising cookies.
Essential preference storage
We store your privacy choice in your browser so the site remembers it. This necessary preference storage is not used for advertising.
Optional advertising
The converter records an accepted or rejected choice under playlist-cookie-consent in local browser storage. This preference stays in this browser until it is changed or cleared; it is not a playlist backup or a music account token. Clearing site data can cause the consent choice to be requested again.
If you accept, Google AdSense may use cookies and similar identifiers to display and measure advertising, only after the configured certified consent platform supplies the required consent signal. Without a real ad unit and configured certified CMP, no advertising request is sent. If you reject, the advertising script is not loaded.
The Google consent platform may provide its own consent interface and storage. The converter requests non-personalized ads only when its local choice is accepted, the site is approved for advertising, and the configured consent platform supplies an allowed signal. Acceptance alone does not guarantee that an advertisement will be displayed. Ad blockers and provider availability can also affect delivery.
Your control
Change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. Conversion works whether you accept or reject optional cookies.
Playlist content is processed in your browser and is never used for advertising personalization.
To withdraw an earlier choice, return to the converter, open Cookie settings and choose rejection. If advertising code was already loaded, the converter reloads so that the next page view does not load that script. You can also clear this site’s data in your browser settings. These controls do not revoke permissions you separately granted to Apple Music or Google.
Music account data is separate
Account tokens and transfer progress are held in memory for the converter session. They are not saved in the advertising preference. Provider sign-in pages and SDKs may manage their own session storage under their respective policies. Read the privacy policy for account access, downloaded reports and revocation links.
