Playlist Converter privacy policy
What you choose to share
File backups are processed in your browser. Connecting a music account reads playlist names and the selected playlist's tracks through Apple Music or YouTube. Creating a playlist sends searches and matched tracks to the destination service. Account transfers do not copy audio files.
Session data and retention
Account access tokens, playlist data and transfer checkpoints are held in browser memory for this session, not saved by SEL Consulting. Disconnecting or reloading clears our session; authorization previously granted to a provider may remain. Downloaded reports remain on your device. Provider SDKs may manage their own session storage.
Disconnecting and revoking access
Revoke Google access at Google account permissions. Manage Apple Music access in your Apple account's app permissions. Created playlists remain in the destination until you remove them there.
Music providers and advertising
This service uses YouTube API Services. See YouTube Terms of Service, Google Privacy Policy and Apple Privacy Policy. Playlist data is never used for advertising personalization.
Google AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies subject to your consent and Google’s policies. The converter continues to work when advertising consent is refused or ads are blocked.
Your files and transfer reports
Choosing a file reads its track metadata locally. Starting an account transfer sends track searches and playlist contents to the music services you select. A downloaded CSV is a backup, not proof that a destination account was changed. Transfer reports can contain track names, unmatched items and a destination playlist identifier. You control the downloaded copies and can remove them from your device.
Reloading does not remove playlists already created at a music provider. To remove a destination playlist, use that provider’s own account controls. Account access and matching depend on the provider’s availability and permissions.
Privacy choices and contact
Use Cookie settings on the converter to change optional advertising consent. See our cookie policy for preference storage and consent controls. For questions about this service, visit SEL Consulting. Do not send passwords or account tokens with a privacy enquiry.
